Senior School New york Trip
Overview

The New York trip is a curriculum based field trip which the senior school organizes once every two years. Assignments related to this trip are included within the curriculum of the English, Art, Social Science, and Business Departments, and students within these departments are strongly encouraged to take part.

Students taking part in the trip will stay in a hotel in New Jersey for three nights and will travel to New York City during the day to observe a variety of politically, financially, and artistically significant landmarks and institutions. The itinerary for the trip includes visits to the United Nations, the New York Stock Exchange, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Radio City Music Hall, the Empire State Building, Ellis Island, and even the viewing of a musical on Broadway.

The New York trip will take place during the senior school "break- away" week, and will depart Wedenesday, September 20th, and return on Saturday, September 23rd.

The cost for the trip, including travel and accommodation, will be approximately $620.00. Please note that meals are not included in this amount. Reservations for the trip will be made on a first come first serve basis.
