Topic: Forms of Mens Rea

Objectives:

As we have learned in our previous lessons, the Crown must prove both mens rea (the guilty mind) and actus reus (the guilty act) in order to secure a conviction against the accused. In this lesson the student will learn that the guilty mind can be established in one of three forms:
