Students are to produce a resume in which they outline their present:

• education,
• work and/or volunteer experience,
• skills and attributes, and/or awards and honours received,
• hobbies and interests, as well as
• personal and/or work references

In addition, the student must prepare a cover letter in which they:

• outline their desire to obtain a specific job,
• describe any relevent experience or skills, and
• request an interview.

Due Date and Marking Scheme:

Resumes are due May 1/2, 1997 (depending on which day your class is held), and are to be typed or word processed if at all possible. This assignment will be marked out of 20. Remember that spelling and grammar will comprise approximately 20% of this mark. Please consult the marking scheme while preparing your resume and cover letter, and remember to hand this sheet in with your completed assignment.
