Lesson #7:
During this class students will learn to appreciate the importance of entrepreneurship in Canadian society. The class will examine the meaning of entrepreneurship, venture capital, risk, and innovation.
In addition, the class will examine actual case studies of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ventures. Students will learn to recognize the common characteristics found among entrepreneurs.
Finally, students will assess their own predisposition towards entrepreneurship, and will examine their own life experiences in search for potential entrepreneurial innovations.
Instructional Method and Evaluation:

Students will view the film Entrepreneurship for Canadians: The Spirit of Adventure in order to examine some specific examples of Canadian entrepreneurship. While viewing the film, students will be respsonsible for completing the associated Video Question Sheet.
In addition, students will complete an Entrepreneurial Self-Analysis.
