Lesson #1:
During this class students will explore the role which business plays in Canadian society. Students will examine the various ways which businesses impact their lives and influence their standard of living. In addition, students will learn to differentiate between businesses, charitable organizations, and government agencies. Finally, students will develop a number of definitions for the word "business."
Instructional Method and Evaluation:
To assist students in exploring the issues oultined above, students will form into groups and interview each other in an effort to complete the Student Business Survey sheet.
