About:
Over the past three years, the Adventures in Curriculum Conference has provided talented and innovative CIS teachers the opportunity to explore their passion for teaching with other like-minded educators. Equipped with a wealth of ideas and a broadened perspective, participating teachers return to their schools eager to lead and promote further growth and innovation in curriculum.

This year the Conference Organizing Committee has adopted the goal of obtaining 100% participation from CIS schools. Thus, we are asking all CIS schools to select one or two innovative teachers from their faculties who could i)benefit from lively debate and discussion regarding curriculum development, and ii) inspire their colleagues with their vision and creativity.

We hope to see teachers from every discipline and division represented. Participants should be prepared to make a short presentation regarding an educational initiative, innovation, or program that they have developed and successfully implemented.

When:
This year’s conference will be running from Thursday, April 18 to Saturday, April 20th, 2002.

Where:
The Geneva Park Conference Centre in Orillia, Ontario.

Directions:
The Geneva Park Conference Centre is a 90 minute drive north of Toronto, just on the outskirts of the City of Orillia. Located on a 150 acre peninsula along the east shoreline of Lake Couchiching. The Park is situated along the Rama Road, 3 km. north of Casino Rama.
